For the first time, the College convened the General Body Meeting and Election of the Alumni Association on Sunday, 27 September 2026, presided over by Rev. Fr. Dr. M. Swaminathan, Secretary of the College.

As of 25 September 2026, the Association had 3,979 registered alumni. For the election, 517 alumni registered, of whom 462 confirmed their in-person participation and 55 were unable to attend.

The meeting was felicitated by Dr. M. Arumai Selvam, Principal; Dr. J. Jon Arockiaraj, Senior Vice-Principal; Dr. M. Vanathaian, Controller of Examinations; Rev. Fr. Dr. A. Alex, Dean of Students; Rev. Fr. Dr. Charles Edison, Associate Dean & Director of Sports and Media; and Rev. Fr. Dr. G. Maria Anandaraj, Alumni Coordinator and Spiritual Animator, along with the Vice-Principals and Heads of Departments.

The proceedings commenced with an invocation and welcome address, followed by the confirmation of the agenda, a brief report on the Association’s membership and activities, and an explanation of the approved election procedures. The election was subsequently conducted in accordance with the prescribed rules.

As only one valid nomination was received for each principal office, the following were declared duly elected unopposed:

President: Mr. K. Shriramkumar

General Secretary: Mr. David Irudayaraj

Treasurer: Mr. K. Sai Krishnan

The newly elected office-bearers administered the Oath of Office and signed the relevant election documents.

The election results were formally announced before the General Body, followed by a vote of thanks. The programme was coordinated by Rev. Fr. Dr. G. Maria Anandaraj, Alumni Coordinator and Spiritual Animator, in association with the Department Alumni In-charges.
