The college celebrated Teacher's day on 3rd september. The function was presided over by Rev. Fr. M. Swaminathan, Secretary of the college. Rev. Fr. M. Swaminathan Award for Paper Publication and Rev. Fr. G. Peter Rajendiram Award for Best Paper were given to faculty members who published papers. Sixty-two faculty members were given the Rev. Fr. G. Peter Rajendiram Award for 96 research contributions (Journal Articles, Books, Book Chapters, and Patents). Dr. M. Arumai Selvam, Principal,  Dr. J. Jon Arockiaraj, Vice-Principal, Dr. M. Vanathaian, Controller of Examinations, Rev. Fr. A. Alex, Dean of Students, Rev. Fr. Charles Edison, Associate Dean & Director Sports & Media, Rev. Fr. G. Maria Anandaraj, Alumni Co-ordinator, Vice-Prinicpals and Heads of the Department were the dignitaries present.
